Overview

This role is responsible for selling aftermarket Field Service offers for Myers EPS Central Lighting Inverters. Offers are maintenance contracts, battery replacements, startup and commissioning when not sold with the product, spare parts, and field upgrades. Selling strategies and activities need to be aligned with the life cycle of the product. This is proactive selling using installed base and service record data to identify opportunities. Selling activities will mostly be cold calling and email campaigns to end customer wherever possible.


Job Duties

  • Provides input to stratified pricing of all service offers and maintain standard price lists for sharing with Reps, OEMs, and Service Centers.
  • Provides input to marketing materials related to aftermarket services to support targeted messaging.
  • Uses shipment installed base information and service records in Salesforce.com to identify opportunities for aftermarket service revenue.
  • Uses Salesforce.com to record and manage stages of all opportunities from Prospecting to Won or Lost.
  • Coordinates sales efforts with established product sales channels so not to create undesired channel conflicts.
  • Collaborates with Regional Sales and Executive leadership when conflicts arise.
  • Uses approved social media platforms to promote Myers EPS Field Service aftermarket offers in cooperation with Marketing initiatives.
  • Creates and manages sales promotions to generate incremental sales opportunities.
  • Works closely with Service Centers to leverage relationships they have with end customers to align selling strategies and optimize opportunities.
  • Develops KPIs for opportunities, quotations, orders, and attachment rates for aftermarket offers.
  • Uses Salesforce.com to trigger maintenance contract renewal notifications, establishes a follow up process and reports on renewal rates.
  • Able to establish and attain orders forecasts on a monthly and annual basis using pipeline and analytical data.


Requirements

  • Experience in technical or aftermarket service sales
  • Proficient use of Salesforce.com for CRM activities
  • Strategic, creative thinking, good at execution, ability to work independently
  • Passionate, hardworking, ambitious, strongly self-motivated

Education & Experience

  • B.A. in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field
  • 2+ years previous sales experience with demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce CRM
  • Experience working in the electrical or lighting industry preferred
