Our family-owned insurance agency has been providing personalized insurance solutions to our clients for over 38 years.

We are currently seeking a Licensed Personal Lines Property and Casualty Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal lines accounts, quoting new & renewal business, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Salary Range: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
• Process customer policy change requests.
• Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
• Handle all incoming claim calls from customers.
• Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
• Document each customer contact in eAgent.
• Take premium payments from customers.
• Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
• Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
• Return all phone messages promptly.
• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of new products.
• Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
• Generating insurance quotes.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Be outstanding at relationship building.
• Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
• Claims follow up calls.
• Stay up-to-date on industry market trends and best practices
• Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs
• Provide policies to new clients and explain benefits/risks of the policy

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
• Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
