Rogers Group Inc is looking for experienced concrete finishers.

• Set and check the forms to ensure they are properly constructed for concrete placement and finishing
• Understand and performs the finish of all concrete
• Place, spread, level, consolidate, and smooth concrete, using concrete pump, bucket, rake, vibrator, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float
• Mold expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge.
• Understand and performs all patching and repair
• Chip, scrape, and grind high spots, ridges, and rough projections to finish concrete, using pneumatic chisels, power grinders, or hand tools
• Prepare existing surfaces to accept repair materials
• Apply curing, hardening, and sealing compounds and materials to the surface of concrete
• Operate equipment such as skid steer and backhoe
• Assist with the overall site safety and quality programs as required and ensuring Trade employees/subcontractors compliance with Rogers Group standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Display a high level of teamwork, integrity, commitment, and leadership in daily operations.
• Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Wages starting at $19.00/hr. for entry level candidates. Some positions require no experience and Rogers Group will train. Higher pay for skilled applicants. A shift Overtime available and extensive medical and retirement benefits.

Qualifications:

Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

2 – 3 years experience forming, pouring, and finishing curb & gutter and storm drain boxes

A team player who works well with others.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and creativity required.

Must be self-motivated, calm under pressure, and consistently able to meet deadlines, while always keeping Safety at the forefront.

Must have reliable transportation to get back and forth to work each day.

Must Pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background check.
