Event Setup & Catering Support Team Members (2)

The Sayre Hospitality Group is seeking to hire two employees who will serve as Event Setup/Tear Down & Catering Support team member. In this position, the team members will participate in the setup/tear down of events and provide support to the catering team; specific duties include:

· Ensuring venue setup meets the provided floorplan (table placement, chairs, etc.)

· Ensuring all items are processed appropriately after an event (collection of linens, moving of chairs at tables for the next scheduled event at our venues, etc.)

· Assisting with the transfer, set-up and tear down of event items (tables, sound equipment, linens, etc.)

To carry out these duties, the successful candidate must possess the following skills and abilities:

· Reading and interpreting venue setup layouts

· Using effective communication skills

· Working independently with little supervision during the setup and tear down cycles

· Ability to work quickly, effectively and efficiently during the setup and tear down of an event

· Problem solving skills

· Possession of a valid driver’s license

· Ability to be carried on the company’s vehicular insurance

· Ability to follow directions

· Team player

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Pay range: $17-$22 per hour

Work location: These positions will be assigned predominantly to Greystone Event Center, 50 Riffel Rd., Wooster, OH 44691 and White Oak Event Center (previously known as The Pines), 1319 N. Millborne Rd., Orrville, OH 44667). In addition, these positions will include transportation responsibilities to ensure prompt deliver and pick-up of catering event items.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
