We are currently seeking professional and ambitious Event Sales Specialists to join our team. This position is a crucial part of the campaign team, and we're looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individuals who can work well in a team environment. The individuals in this position will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to public music events, sponsorships, and donations.

Some responsibilities include: identifying local, regional, and national companies as potential sponsors and/or individual and corporate customers by reviewing lists, researching and networking. The ESS must keep and update sales spreadsheet.

This position works closely with the company directors and event coordinations team to ensure that all elements of the sponsorships and agreements are delivered to the satisfaction of the sponsor company.

Event Sales Specialists must prepare regular reports and keep meticulous notes on all client interactions.

Note: This position is located in Oklahoma. Though this is a remote position, candidates who reside in-state may opt for travel to visit venues, other music events such as concerts and festivals, and to meet with clients and potential sponsors. In that case, all travel expenses, including meals, mileage, and hotel accomodations will be paid by Rock Prairie Productions.

REQUIREMENTS:

-HS diploma or GED

-Prior experience with sales and/or marketing and branding (including retail and social media)

-Experience with Google Docs/ Word and spreadsheets

-Exceptional organizational skills

-Ability to communicate comfortably by phone, text, and email

-Ability to attend all work calls and Zoom meetings with Team

-Experience in the music business is a plus, but not required (This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to get into the music industry.)

*This is an entry to mid-level contractual position. Pay is commission-based at industry standard and may include bonuses. It is considered temporary due to the nature of the particualr music event we are producing. However, the right candidate may have the opportunity to onboard with our growing company after the conclusion of this event series.
