Responsibilities:

Hands-on experience in data warehouse and BI projects working as ETL (MS SQL server) developer

Must have strong experience in Data Warehousing, ETL, Dimensional modelling, and data management areas.

Must have worked with different data sources, non-relational as well as relational Databases

Experience in Migrating SQL database to Azure data Lake, Azure data lake Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Data Bricks and Azure SQL Data

Experience in Data Migration from RDBMS to cloud data warehouse.

Demonstrated ability to have successfully completed multiple, complex technical projects on ETL & Datawarehouse.

Performance tuning of ETL loads, Debugging & Testing

Should be able to troubleshoot problems across ETL, Database, data warehouse, BI areas on- premises and cloud as well

Must have strong SQL Skills.

Must have good SQL Server Administration skills.

Experience working on multi-Cloud environments, like Snowflake, Azure

Understand meta data, master data & reference data in a project

Investigate data to identify potential issues within ETL pipelines, propose adequate solutions

Prepare documentation for further reference

Create base views and derived views using ‘Denodo’

Develop technical documentations related to ETL/ Virtualization tasks

Requirements and skills:

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field or data engineering certification

Previous experience as an ETL developer, data engineer or in a similar role

Technical expertise with data extraction, transformation, and data models

SSIS package design, development, debugging

Good to have exposure of data virtualization tools like ‘Denodo’
