Cosmic Design Studio is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed cost estimates and proposals for our high-end swimming pool, landscape, and outdoor living projects. You will work closely with our design and construction teams to ensure that our clients receive exceptional service and the highest quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans and specifications to create comprehensive cost estimates for high-end swimming pool projects.
• Work closely with our design and construction teams to ensure that estimates accurately reflect the scope and complexity of each project.
• Source materials and obtain quotes from vendors and subcontractors to ensure that estimates are accurate and competitive.
• Continuously evaluate and adjust estimates throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that they are up-to-date and accurate.
• Review project budgets with our management team and provide regular updates on estimated costs and actual expenses.
• Collaborate with our sales team to provide accurate and competitive estimates to potential clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices to ensure that our estimates are always current and accurate.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in estimating luxury design/build projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to create accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our design and construction teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or G-Suite and experience with estimating software.
• Knowledge of swimming pool construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Experience working with high-end clients and providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to obtain competitive bids from vendors and subcontractors.
• Experience with value engineering and other cost-saving techniques to ensure that projects are completed within budget.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience using AutoCAD or other drafting software to create detailed project plans and drawings.
• Experience estimating residential homes and structures.
• Experience estimating costs for commercial pool projects.
• Knowledge of landscape and hardscape design and construction, including experience estimating costs for outdoor living spaces.
• Understanding of plumbing, electrical, and other technical aspects of swimming pool design and construction.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations for swimming pool construction.
• Experience working with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure that swimming pool projects are integrated seamlessly into overall building designs.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
