PURPOSE: Service real estate loan accounts in regards to insurance and escrow accounts.
DIMENSIONS: Responsible for monitoring and maintaining homeowner’s and wind/hail insurance. Frequent contact with members, credit union employees, and insurance companies.
DUTIES: Directly assist management with duties related to the hiring and training of new and existing employees as assigned.
Assist the Senior Escrow Insurance Servicing Specialist with specialized department responsibilities.
Identify ways to make the department run more efficiently.
Create and maintain departmental procedures as needed.
Actively participate in implementing projects aimed at procedural enhancements and improvement.
Employee will be expected to cross-train in other areas of the entire department.
Knowledge of Escrow accounts and how to compute escrow analyses calculations.
Process requests and assist credit union employees, members and staff with Escrow questions.
Perform all Escrow Insurance Servicing Technicians I/II duties, such as processing homeowner’s, wind/hail, life insurance, and loss draft claims in a timely manner.
Administer the completion of monthly audits and monthly/quarterly reports as needed.
Analyze and lead in a professional manner to any and all escrow questions relating to complex escrow related member calls.
Examine and process all corrective maintenance as needed.
Meet crucial deadlines for daily activities and department reports.
Complete additional duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a four-year degree, CCUE Certification, or Associate of Arts degree or Associate of Science degree via the North Carolina College Transfer Program (NC-CTP).
Lending and 3 years’ experience preferred.
Must demonstrate mastery and self-sufficiency of basic and advanced department duties required of Escrow Insurance Servicing I/II, Senior Escrow Insurance Servicing I/II, and Escrow Insurance Specialist I.
Must be proficient in handling and coordinating specialized duties assigned by management.
Must have demonstrated the ability to go above and beyond basic department responsibilities with a willingness to assist the Escrow Insurance Servicing employees and the Escrow Insurance Servicing Manager with additional duties and managerial responsibilities as assigned.
Must demonstrate leadership qualities through willingness and ability to train and assist all department employees.
Must actively support and promote changes geared toward department process improvement, growth and automation.
Must be an established leader who sets the performance example for all Escrow employees.
Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and computer databases.
Must be able to work independently as well as with others with minimal supervision.
Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Must possess a high level of self-control, self-confidence, positive attitude, and neat appearance.
Must be patient, honest, confident, and service-oriented.
Must adhere to the work schedule and attendance policy established by the manager.
Must be able to speak English fluently.
Must be able to cooperate and collaborate with co-workers.
Must be cordial in all interactions with members and co-workers.
