About the team

The Process Optimization and Technology Enablement team sits within Purchasing Operations. The team oversees the end to end Purchasing function, related tools and processes. We provide the strategic direction for growth and optimization of system functionality and related processes. Daily team responsibilities include oversight and maintenance of the integrations with upstream and downstream systems, periodic cloud patch management, system enhancements, supplier catalogs system testing. The team also manages the onboarding and divestiture of FIS entities as it relates to purchasing activity. Future expansion to engage more broadly to additional Supply Chain Management (SCM) utilized tools.

About the role
As an ERP Business Analyst, will look to use analytics and engagement with business users, and the SCM teams to identify areas for optimization or to address challenges with the current processes. You will be a subject matter expert for the global purchasing function. You’ll work as part of a team, with specific areas of responsibly and must be a self- motivated, proactive, and out-of-the-box thinker. You will elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate business/user requirements for processes, policies and information systems.

What you will be doing

• Engage with IT analysts to review system functionality to solution technical challenges.
• Identify system configuration changes to enhance the user experience and to provide added controls for the purchasing function.
• Participate in discussions and manage activities related to upstream system integrations.
• Preparing and analyzing data purchasing data with the object to identify ways to optimize the purchasing process or to address opportunities for technology enhancements.
• Perform analysis, testing and oversight of significant changes to purchasing data for conversion between systems due to acquisitions, divestitures, or system upgrades.
• Solution design testing in Pre-production environments and validation of design in Production.
• Stay current with technology enhancement options by participating on ERP and SCM system reviews and discussions with the Suppliers.
• Develop and maintain Process maps and training documentation.
• Train and support SCM team member and business users.

What you will need

• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance/Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of Business analyst or purchasing operations experience
• Understanding of enterprise purchasing processes (Procure to Pay function), general understanding of Sourcing and Accounts Payable are helpful
• Experience with Oracle Fusion (Cloud) or similar ERP.
• Experience in process mapping and documentation
• Logical reasoning using data to identify areas for process/system optimization.
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
