Summary:

The Equipment Finance Ops Analyst 2 review new loan/lease closings to ensure that all material terms are properly reflected in the system of record, InfoLease. Requires in depth knowledge of different loan and lease structures and detailed knowledge of system.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Employ knowledge of lease accounting rules in calculating and quoting buyout costs for clients for non-tax leases and TRAC products
  • Compares funding requests to documentation to ensure accurate funding for both amounts and payees.
  • Execute disposals for payoffs or matured contracts with no balance remaining.
  • Perform ongoing servicing including ensuring that UCC filings are kept current.
  • Research and post rejected lockbox payments and payments received directly by EFO, and ensure that all documents are imaged to Filenet on a timely basis.
  • Performing quality checks on departmental work.
  • Prepare or assist in preparation of procedures and job aides
  • Prepares ad-hoc reports requested within business line
  • Work with audit or risk colleagues to provide information and test internal controls
  • Assist in the training of new colleagues on any/all functions
  • Participate in high profile/special projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 or more years experience supporting financial operations


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience working with account documentation, settlements and general ledger
  • Preferred experience working with products supported by Commercial Specialty Operations
  • Strong organizational and telephone skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Resolve problems independently, inform management of all appropriate issues
  • Work with sense of urgency while maintaining close attention to detail
  • Demonstrated research experience and problem solving skills
  • Passion for client service, strong work ethic, integrity and a can-do positive attitude.
