AET is Hiring an Environmental Technician for the Rochester, MN office.
The Environmental Technician assists and follows the direction of project managers, engineers, and scientists to complete projects. Work assignments may include field monitoring, sample collection, information gathering, data management, report drafting, and computer related activities such as spreadsheets and word processing.

• Sampling of soil, ground water, wastewater, surface water, wastes, and other environmental media.
• Data collection, environmental surveys, and drafting reports.

IN THIS JOB, YOU WILL:

• Set up equipment and conduct field and laboratory activities.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
• Communicate with AET project managers for smooth and successful projects.
• Frequently travel to job sites with some out-of-town overnight trips.
• Work outside in inclement weather.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or higher.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required (CDL preferred but not required).Completion of a 2-year vocational or college program in a field related to science, engineering, or environmental issues aind at least 1 year of experience required.
• Preferred: completion of a 4-year technical degree in science, engineering, or environmental related field preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
