RMA is seeking a Weekend Clinical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our growing team in San Francisco, CA. This position is scheduled for Friday-Sunday from 6:00am-2:30pm. This is a great opportunity for a student or someone looking to gain experience. You must have your CPT-1 and we will train as a Clinical Assistant

Clinical Assistants assists with patient care, records critical patient information, and provides information to patients so they:
may fully utilize and benefit from their visit. Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintain patient records by accurately recording medical history, vital statistics, etc., and scanning related documents.
• Accompanying patients to exam/procedure room and assisting patients as needed with walking transfers, dressing, collecting specimens and preparing for exam.
• Collecting patient history and assisting Provider with various procedures and screenings.
• Relaying instructions to patients/families and providing pertinent information.
• Adheres to Patient Confidentiality Policies and HIPAA regulations.
• Setting up instruments and equipment according to department protocols, cleaning exam/procedure rooms and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection control, maintaining and cleaning sterilizer according to scheduled maintenance program, and restocking exam/procedure rooms.

Qualified candidates will have:

• A high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)/BS or BA preferred
• Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred
• CPT1 license
