Position Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cash Receipts – Import lock box data, research payment discrepancies, code and deposit checks received at site, and update customer A/R notes.
• A/R Collection & Customer Contact – Collects past-due account balances by direct contact with customers and by joint effort with salesforce. Receive calls or emails from customers, research billing problems, determine need for credits to be issued or take other corrective action and supply information requests from Customer Service.
• Portal Customers – Upload invoices to customer portals and monitors payment progress.
• Credit Analysis – Responds to credit inquiry requests and investigates credit references for new accounts.
• A/R Statements –Prints statements/dunning letters, reviews prior to emailing/mailing and responds to inquiries.
• Debit/Credits - Responsible to process Debit and Credit memos for customer discrepancies, as a backup person.
• Miscellaneous special projects, account analysis, and financial reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or comparable experience
• SAP experience strongly preferred
• General computer knowledge
• Minimum of 2 year’s accounts receivable experience
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and make decisions
• Computer experience in Excel, Word, and SAP necessary
• Knowledge of Foreign Payment Methods

• General A/R reporting processes
• PC spreadsheet
• SAP experience
