Job description

As an Employee Expense Analyst Apprentice, you will support the improvement of business operations at HP Inc. You will work cross-functionally to identify and solve business problems, implement new tools and procedures, and leverage data to contribute to the efficiency of our organization.

This is a hybrid role - you will be required to go into the office

A typical day

  • Assist in solving process and system problems in terms of evaluating the root cause, performing analysis, or identifying process gaps
  • Partner with Stakeholders in Operations and IT to resolve issues
  • Support the Employee Expense Management team during any project implementation – like testing
  • Perform post-implementation support
  • Support system configuration activities, change requests, and minor enhancements by providing information, analysis, and recommendations in support of team efforts
  • Support Metric Reporting, analysis, and reconciliation efforts

Education

  • Either a High School Diploma, GED, or Associate Degree

Knowledge and Skills

  • Good Oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office ( Excel, Word & PPT)
  • Basic analytical skills.
  • An interest in learning about the basic knowledge of financial systems and processes.
  • An interest in learning about basic accounting principles.
  • An interest in learning about basic project management skills for supporting projects
