What role you will play in our team
Identify and understand low-carbon market trends / opportunities- Recommend market segments to pursue, providing timely, insightful analyses of market/business data to enable effective decision-making
- Engage with stakeholders, government entities and 3rd party customers
- This is a Washington, DC based ExxonMobil Low Carbon Solutions role
What you will do
Conduct data analysis, market intelligence and monitoring- Provide industry and market analysis related to trends, key drivers, business impacts
- Develop and maintain the long-term demand forecasts
- Monitor key industry reports for capacity addition announcements
- Conduct customer/prospect, product, and competitor analyses to support business needs, leveraging broader Low Carbon Solutions organization, including Commercial and Business Development teams
- Assist in project market analyses as required
- Support opportunity development and marketing with external customers
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop and optimize marketing strategies
- Assist with commercial agreements between ExxonMobil and potential customers
About You
Skills and Qualifications
Masters degree in International Economics or Business- 20+ years of combined experience in the energy sector
- Oil & Gas, Low Carbon / Energy Transition and renewables experience
- Strong communication, coordination, and collaboration skills
- Fluent and fully bilingual in English and French
- Ability to effectively influence others without authority
- Demonstrated experience in large international organization
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
Energy industry experience, including research and market analysis related to commercial and energy transition activities- Ability to effectively manage interpersonal relationships across multiple functions and in a diverse and international work group
- Exhibit deep curiosity, demonstrating strategic thinking to drive long term growth
