At Mile High Ambulance, you will be supplied with some of the best equipment in the industry including LifePack15 Cardiac Monitors and Stryker Power Stretchers. Our on-site ASE certified diesel mechanics provide a fleet of professionally maintained Type I, II and III ambulances.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Colorado EMT/NREMT
  • CPR
  • IV Certification (Within 60 days of hire)
  • Colorado Driver's License (with clear record)
  • EKG Certification (preferred)
  • CEVO-4 (preferred)

Requirements:

  • Provides safe and friendly transport services for emergency and non-emergency patients.
  • Prepares to transport patients by completing operator vehicle inspections; inventorying supplies; correcting deficiencies. Transports patients to doctors appointments, discharges, Dialysis and from scene of Emergency calls.
  • Responds to emergencies by choosing route; observing traffic conditions; avoiding dangerous situations; maintaining communications with dispatcher.
  • Determines medical and safety requirements at emergency scene by assessing medical status of ill or injured persons; assessing prevailing circumstances; calling for support.
  • Completes reports by entering required information.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. Mile High Ambulance is a State Certified Learning Center and provides CE opportunities for all Employees.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
