The ECC Clinical Patient Flow/Coordinator has operational responsibility for a nursing unit which includes accountability for the quality of patient care, the performance of the nursing staff, assisting in the development and management of the budget, and the orientation, education and development of the staff.

• Require a minimum two (2) years of current emergency RN experience.
• Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
• Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
• Require PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIH, NRP and STABLE within six (6) months of completing department orientation.
• Require completion of Personal Safety Awareness class within sixty (60) days of hire.

• Prefer certification in nursing specialty area.
• Prefer three (3) years of current emergency RN experience.
• Prefer demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle difficult situations in a diplomatic manner.
• Prefer proven ability to identify and solve problems, exercise independent judgment, and demonstrated sound decision-making.
• Prefer proven clinical leadership skills demonstrating ability to effectively manage relationships and promote teamwork.
• Prefer the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
