Port Elevator is a part of American Elevator Group (AEG) company, a collection of well-established elevator service companies operating across the United States. Backed by Arcline Investment Management, AEG has a significant footprint in the elevator industry and is rapidly growing. Due to anticipated growth, we are looking for a Helper in the Wilkes-Barre/Williamsport area.

In this role, the Helper assists the mechanic on jobs, keeping the tools and jobsite organized, run parts and materials, and maintaining tools, equipment and components to ensure safe work practices.

The successful candidate must possess a HS diploma or equivalent, have a valid and clean drivers license, and have previous knowledge and experience with either hydraulics, electrical, engines or HVAC. Previous amusement park, elevator or military technical training is strongly preferred.

Commutable locations to the site would be Halifax, Millersburg, Elizabethville, Lykens, Williamstown, Gratz, Pillow, Lewisburg, Jersey Shore, Lock Haven, Hughesvilleareas would be a good commute.

This position would pay for $25/hr up to $35/hr depending on your experience.
