Cumberland County Charter School Network is seeking an elementary teacher.

Successful candidate will create an effective learning environment, develop clear and appropriate lesson plans, evaluate students' academic and social growth, establish and maintain standards of behavior in the classroom, administer informal/formal assessments, and participate in faculty meetings.

Hours – 7:45am – 3:45pm

Qualifications:

Effective communication with teachers, administration & parents.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Outstanding instructional skills driven by data and delivered through rigorous and engaging strategies.

Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities.

Job Requirements

Provide students with required instruction according to the school’s curriculum.

Assign and grade classroom assignments and homework.

Create instructional materials and teach prepared lessons.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree required with a record of personal, professional, and/or academic achievement.

NJ Dept. of Education teacher certification completed or in process.

Job Type: Full-time - 10 month
