You’ll like your schedule: A total of seven (7) days worked, and seven (7) days off in a two-week pay period:

Day Shift: 4:00 AM – 4:15 PM.

Your Schedule: 3 days on (Sa/Su/M); 2 days off (Tu/W); 2 days on (Th/F); 3 days off (Sa/Su/M) and so on … .

Hourly pay starting at $33/hour. Hours worked on Sunday more than 40 hours for the week are paid at double (2x) the regular hourly rate. With your double time included, that makes your “effective” pay rate $36.14 per hour for each of your 84 hours … Seven 12’s … worked.

Maintenance Technicians increase the productivity of automated equipment by troubleshooting and correcting electrical and mechanical issues with controls that are beyond the scope of the Operators’ abilities. The Support Technician assists in managing process improvements, equipment installations, and supporting elevated company/equipment issues.

Your responsibilities and skills:

• Edit PLC programs as needed for changes and adjustments to equipment.
• Edit robot programs as needed for new palletizing patterns, and make minor edits to camera OCV code inspection layouts to keep QA verifications functioning properly.
• Enter changes via touch-screen HMIs as necessary to changes to production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic valves, motors and gearboxes, and electrical and mechanical controls of the production equipment.
• Perform repairs and rebuilds to ink jet and thermal transfer printers that have been taken out of service.

The programs and devices that a Support Technician will work around and with include, but are not limited to: 3 phase motors - Allen Bradley PLCs and Drives - Fanuc Robots - Cognex cameras - AC/DC drive frequency controllers - Electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics.

Education – Minimum of a two-year degree OR equivalent controls and maintenance experience.

Qualifications – Minimum of 1 year of related experience.

The preferred candidate will have three or more years of experience in the following:

• PLC troubleshooting
• Working with and setting up DH+, Ethernet, or other types of communication networks
• PC setup and maintenance skills
• Working with AC/DC drive frequency controllers and setup
• Reading electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics
• Previous experience with Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers
• Strong mechanical and electrical background with experience
