Responsibilities:

· Creating electrical drawings for new projects, updating existing drawings as needed, and communicating with clients about changes

· Creating electrical schematics and diagrams using EPLAN and Engineering Base

· Preparing estimates of material costs and labor hours for projects

· Designing electrical control panels, switches, circuit breakers, fuses, junction boxes, transformers, light fixtures, outlets, and wiring systems

· Developing electrical layouts based on the client’s specifications

· Performing calculations to determine voltage drop across conductors, transformer capacities, and amperage draw from electrical devices

Qualifications:

· Fundamental knowledge in automation systems/manufacturing

· Fundamental knowledge in electrical design/industrial circuit design

· Willingness to travel worldwide if necessary for projects (USA, Mexico, Canada, Brazil) and extensive training at STIWA Group headquarters (Austria)

· Ability to train clients and ensure highest level of customer service

· Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work in teams

· Willingness to take on responsibility

Preferred Qualifications:

· Preferred 2-4 years of experience in electrical design role

· Required BS Electrical Engineering, or related field of study from ABET accredited university.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
