Zero Gravity Marketing is interviewing for an e-commerce web developer, with the ability to work in Shopify & WordPress WooCommerce specifically. Having experience in other ecommerce platforms as well, like BigCommerce and/or Magento 2 as a developer is a huge bonus (but not required).
In this position you will be part of a marketing agency development team, built to assist in the production of exceptional web experiences for our clients. If you are 70% theme development and 30% module or plugin development you should apply.
Our ideal team member would be comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment and enjoy problem solving. A critical-thinker with the ability to make the judgment call if a pre-built or custom solution is best for a client to meet their requirements is a must.
Clean, maintainable, and documentable code is a must.
Responsibilities:
- The development (yes code) of e-commerce websites for Shopify & WooCommece using
- Pre-built themes and modules
- Custom developed functional solutions (custom modules)
- Custom developed themes as required (custom themes)
Requirements:
- An expert with Shopify, WordPress and WooCommerce
- Well-organized and an effective communicator
- Be the developer & have confidence in web-based UIs for CMS and e-Commerce management
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, a little JavaScript, and htaccess for redirects
- Thrives in a fast-paced agency environment
- Impeccable communication and willingness to work with other teammates and departments with transitional ability
- Fast-learner with a self-motivated time-conscious attitude that can forecast challenges and raise hand early to ask for help from other team members
- Independent problem solving skills
- Understand Google Analytics tracking, Facebook and AdWord conversion pixel tracking, and enhanced eCommerce tracking
- Experience with technical SEO (including troubleshooting analytics issues, site speed optimization, structured data, AMP, etc.)
- Understand on-page SEO, site speed and architectural impacts on SEO
- Experience in connecting website forms to CRM systems using tools like Zapier
- Team-oriented individual who is willing to contribute their ideas to other team members
- Estimate projects and tasks effectively and accurately
