SUMMARY:
The E-Commerce Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and expediency of picking, packing and shipping of e-commerce orders at designated facility. Also responsible for ensuring that all employees in e-commerce are trained in processes, systems, and safe use of tools/equipment that they will use in their job. Additional responsibilities include supervision of fulfilling Sample Order Requests within timeline parameters and the adjustment of manpower requirements to meet business needs.
Shift: Tuesday-Friday – 1st Shift
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
· Reviews daily orders to ascertain priorities, determine the department’s ability to pick, pack, and ship all orders within the timeline parameters, and adjusts manpower, if needed.
· Identifies potential problem areas (insufficient inventory, incomplete paperwork, equipment deficiencies etc.) and communicates with other departments (Customer Service, Inventory Control, Traffic, etc.) to resolve.
· Distributes orders/assignments among team members to ensure a balanced workload and achievement of team objectives.
· Analyzes and documents daily productivity of team members and provides additional training, as needed.
· Determines and implements the most cost-effective use of materials and ensures that employees are trained in the packing of product and the salvage of useable materials.
· Assesses workflow and work area layout to maximize efficiencies within the e-commerce area while ensuring a safe work environment for team members.
· Reviews and investigates the documentation of e-commerce customer returns to identify trends and develop preventive action plan for reoccurring issues.
· Leads weekly team meeting to update members on achievements and challenges.
· Evaluates raw material (bubble wrap, boxes) needs on a weekly basis and advises Purchasing of requirements.
· Supervises both pre and post shipment functions within the IRIS USA, Inc system to ensure the timely and accurate transmission of data
Required Education and Experience:
· High school diploma, or equivalent, and 2 years of inventory control experience in a finished goods or parts warehouse environment is required. Bachelor’s degree in business or finance a plus.
Skill:
· Strong oral, written and presentation skills
· Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, MS Word, Access, and PowerPoint
Ability to:
· Must be able to effectively coordinate activities with other departments.
· Must be able to work with minimal supervision
· Must be detailed oriented and work accurately

Activities will involve frequent sitting, using a computer, analyzing huge amounts of data, communicating verbally and in writing. Occasionally incumbent must be able to lift product, office equipment or supplies less than 20 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
