JOB SUMMARY

Performs any combination of following tasks designed to provide transportation of clients by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

____ 1. Performs driving of organization's vehicles and vehicle maintenance by ensuring vehicle cleanliness, proper mechanical functions, filled with fuel, lubricants, and accessories as required. Demonstrates ability to operate radio or communication device as required.

____ 2. Maintains vehicle records by recording into a daily log of pick-ups, deliveries, gas usage, and purchase log. Records clients' behaviors or problems and reports to facility staff.

Maintains confidentiality of client records.

____ 3. Provides client supervision by maintaining line-of-sight of clients, ensure location of clients at appropriate locations, ensure wearing of seat belts as required, and enforces transportation rules.

____ 4. Participate as a team member by cooperating with staff and demonstrate compromise and expression of opinions as appropriate. Attend staff meetings as required and perform duties as a positive role model for clients and colleagues. Utilize chain of command in all aspects of program and follow organization's policies and procedures.

  EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED is required.

• 
  CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Tennessee Drivers License with appropriate Endorsements. Driving record cannot have any speeding tickets, reckless driving or DUI's within the past 7 years.
