Job description
Essential Functions:
- Assisting in the transportation of heavy equipment and/or operating heavy equipment
- Assist in drilling elevator hole with plumb, precise measurements & specs
Position Qualifications:
- CDL Class A license
- DOT Medical Examination Card
- Good driving record
- 3 years’ experience driving on the road
- Able to lift heavy material (up to 50lbs.)
- Maintain CDL logs for DOT compliance
- Assist with large diameter outside construction drilling and/or operating as the lead driller
- Inside elevator jack hole drilling or assisting the driller
- Familiar with large down-hold air hammer and/or solid stem auger rig
- Must be willing to travel, requires occasional out of time work
- Must be able to successfully pass drug screen and background check
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions with exemptions determined by Manager/Supervisor
- Ability to work ‘overtime’ when required and approved by Manager/Supervisor
Skills & Abilities:
- High School Diploma
- Driving experience in city environment
- Able to meet deadlines
- Work independently or as a team
- Good physical condition
