We are looking for a Display Technologist to help drive an LED based display project at the technology development stage. We are looking for a highly motivated and collaborative individual with clear communication skills and strong technical background on semiconductor device fabrication and characterization.
Key Qualifications
- Good understanding of semiconductor device physics and principles of LED
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on cleanroom experience on optoelectronic device processing
- Hands-on experience in optoelectronic / optical device characterization and failure analysis
- Proficiency using programming languages (Matlab, Python, JMP) to analyze data and tackle problems
- Proven record of analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good project management, written and verbal communication skills
Description
• Drive LED device development efforts to produce high quality display panels meeting specifications • Design integration flow and mask layout, oversee device fabrication process • Coordinate LED performance characterization and FA, identify issues, provide solutions for improvement • Effectively communicate requests, results and issues with key stake-holders • Manage project timeline to meet deliverables in time
Education & Experience
This position generally requires a PhD degree, or a Master degree with more than 5 years of experience in relevant industrial work environment.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $104,000 and $190,000 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
