Job description
Responsible for assigning loads to drivers for timely delivery of feed to growers and assisting in feed scheduling. Also responsible for training drivers in procedures of loading trucks and loading truck, when necessary. Communicates with other employees to efficiently load and dispatch feed. In addition to dispatch, he/she also schedules feed deliveries to growers. Scheduling duties includes completing feed delivery and inventory records, maintaining the feed scheduling systems. Responsible for compliance to all company policies and Local, State and Federal policies, laws and regulations. Tentative hours are 2pm - 10pm.
Duties/Activities Required by Job
- Dispatching loads/setting up loads
- Managing the flow of 4 load outs
- Managing driver's hours
- Resolving driver issues
- Providing phone service (out of feeds)
Educations/Experience Requirements
- High School or GED
- 0-2 yrs. experience
- On the job training. Working knowledge of computers with a good understanding of Excel.
