We coach, teach and mentor students who have psychiatric disorders. About Universal Health Services (UHS)
Director of Plant Operations Responsibilities:
Engineering/Plant Ops is responsible for the ongoing, effective operation of the Plant and ongoing assessment and improvement of all services. Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and controls the operations of the Maintenance departments. Maintains compliance with applicable regulatory agency requirements, including; The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), State and Local agencies, The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), etc. Manages staff and contractors to adequately to ensure and maintain the efficient and safe operation of all hospital buildings. Plans, predicts, maintains and repairs building and equipment. Utilizes energy management and tracking tools in order to maintain efficient utility operations. Develops and manages operating and capital budgets.
Qualifications
Excellent Verbal Communication and problem solving skills
Must be able to lead a team
Prefered Skills and Attributes: Conflict resolution skills and resiliency in stressful situations. Technical training and experience. Prior experience in a supervisory position; 5 or more years experience in maintenance. Ability to write and interpret various safety policies; ability to read technical blue print information; basic arithmetic skills; and time management skills.
