Summary of Role:

• To contribute to the development and execution of the vertical / Regional goals and strategies through Supply Chain thought leadership & subject matter expertise.

• Develops Supply Chain planning strategy, targets and priorities to align all Supply Chain and Operations functions for the North America Business to deliver the Regional strategy and annual targets

• Plays the role of a collaborator , integrator and influencer for the North American Region and a voice of reason and connects strongly within and across the Region , Business Transformation Team, Central Supply Chain Organization ( India based ) and the business functions in executing business goals and strategies using the framework of Integrated Business Planning process(Sales & Operations Planning , 5-Year Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan, Business Process reviews) with the ultimate objective of improving customer service for the Region with the most optimum total delivered cost .

• Play the role of Centre of Excellence for the Region in the area of End to End Supply Chain Planning.

Educational Background:

Under Graduation or Post Graduation in Operations Management/Supply Chain Management

Work Experience:

§ 15 + years in Supply Chain Management, Sales & Operations Planning process (5 + Years Senior Leadership role in Supply Chain)

§ Sales and Marketing background would be preferred

§ Demonstrated supply chain strategy and execution capability, thought leadership, strategic thinking with a thorough understanding of supply chain planning & business dynamics.

§ Profound knowledge of S&OP, Integrated Business Planning.

§ Preferred Industry – CPG, Auto spare parts, Lubricants, Tires etc.
