Job Description

Insight Economics is seeking experienced, high-ability consultants who can lead projects, work with clients, and help contribute to a successful growing firm. Directors will work closely with Experts and other team members to lead our projects. Directors are responsible for quality and accuracy of the internal work product generated by the Insight team. Successful Directors help Experts “solve” the big-picture challenges in our consulting work, are proactive and independent thinkers, take pride in their work, and have strong inter-personal skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Experts to identify solutions to client problems before moving forward with execution.
  • Interact consistently with clients regarding project items, adapt to changing circumstances, and manage effectively to deadlines.
  • Demonstrate ability to resolve client issues and structure frameworks for client deliverables.
  • Demonstrate mastery of economic research, analysis, and report drafting.
  • Design written processes and instructional documents for work product execution.
  • Lead and coordinate multiple teams of Associates and Analysts:

o Organize and lead team meetings for project-specific coordination.
o Review and validate the work performed by team members prior to Expert and client submission.
o Coordinate the team to ensure that client expectations are met, on time.
o Assist with teaching Analysts and Associates to become strong consultants, including providing regular and timely feedback.
o Provide mentorship for employees desiring the Director career path.

  • Potential to take on Expert testifying opportunities (if desired).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • >4-5 years of proven experience in litigation-related economic consulting, with an emphasis in IP litigation preferred.
  • Experience with project management, client interaction, and leading teams.
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, Political Science, or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Analytical, collaborative, adaptable, efficient, cool under pressure.
  • Capable of working effectively with top-tier law firm clients.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word capabilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
