The Director of IT Integration Services will serve as the conduit to Solution Delivery and the business in assessing project-specific application integration requirements and Lead the IT Integration Services team to ensure the work is boarded, estimated, and prioritized across demand generation inputs. They will also be responsible for managing the team as it relates to support of all application integration. This is a senior role, team member will be responsible for working with a range of stakeholders from a variety of levels across the organizations, including Directors, Function Leads, IT Leadership and other business owners.

Strategy & Planning

  • Drive the planning and execution of transformational initiatives for Integration Services; including, but not limited to: integration transformation utilizing the capabilities of Amazon Web Services; integration remediation; implementation of new reusable services and capabilities; and the implementation of enterprise services required for other IT projects, like Store+.
  • Serve as the lead technical resource for all areas related to system integration and provide guidance and escalation for key integration architecture decisions.
  • Define and oversee the implementation of Key Architecture Capabilities required for effective development, execution, and operations of Integration Services.
  • Partner with integration vendors to establish on-boarding procedures, work arrangement processes, delivery methodology, status reporting and tracking, and associated best practices inclusive of creating and maintaining knowledge transition repository, project deliverable templates, and ensuring appropriate documentation is maintained and accessible to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Signet IT Leadership (SVP, Store and Field Applications; VP, Corporate Applications; and VP, IT Shared Services) to align resources, skills, and tasks to plan and complete key integration activities (Roadmap, Enterprise standards, Projects launching in parallel, etc.) and execute these efforts in an ongoing manner.
  • Work with business partners, Solution Delivery, Shared Services, and technical teams to define project requirements and scope
  • Aid in defining the initial work estimate: resources (skills and effort), equipment, licensing, etc. required to complete the project, assessing budgetary considerations and allocations.
  • Evaluate workflow processes and provide ongoing optimization recommendations.
  • Design meeting structure and coordinate meeting(s).
  • Identify deadlines associated w/ key deliverables and milestones.
  • Lead/facilitate cross-team and internal meetings.

Production Support

  • Ensure 24/7 support in place with adequate coverage to support system interfaces in production.
  • Effectively manage risk to system interfaces in production, by optimizing the support structure, training, tools, and coverage models.
  • Effectively leverage production support capacity to balance support activities, maintenance activities, support optimization, and enhancements.
  • Drive root-cause-analyses, as appropriate, for production incidents; and use those analyses to drive activities that reduce the number and severity of incidents related to system interfaces.

Project Execution and Ongoing Process Optimization

  • Manage the overall budget, partnering with and supporting the project managers to understand and assure project-level details are being tracked and reported which could modify overall budget assumptions and forecast. Success will require establishing a collaborative and ongoing relationship with the selected Vendor Partner, VMO, and Signet stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase in an effort to refine approach, applying learnings consistently.
  • Develop and present analytics and reports to Senior Management.
  • Prepare meeting materials, outlines, presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other project information.
  • Coordinate & schedule meetings, conference calls and events as needed.
  • Collaborate with various business and IT teams to support project onboarding activities.
  • Ensure that project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
  • Conduct project closure activities to include final reporting, lessons learned, knowledge transfer, and project documentation, inclusive of validating a detailed hand-off to support team(s).
  • Document risks issues; maintain, track, and monitor risk issues.
  • Conduct critical path and dependency analysis as necessary.
  • Identify any problems associated with the project and develop and implement the appropriate solution.
  • Be accountable for delivery against approved project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Evaluate the work product of team members and Vendor Partner, provide resolutions for disruptions and inconsistencies within approach and deliverables.
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Manage large projects of varying complexity.
