Champions is a division of KinderCare Education. In partnership with school districts, we provide quality out- of- school time programs to school-aged children. In this role you will be overseeing the general operations of an out of school time program for the South Brunswick School District. The Director ensures quality of the program, leads/develops a team of teachers, engages and builds confidence of the children, promotes the program and its benefits, ensures compliance with State licensing, supports families with the registration- billing process, and manages relationships with school Administration and families. Curriculum is written but we welcome creativity! l Primarily a split shift, you are afforded time to work at home outside of program hours if/when needed. Our company is growing rapidly and there are multiple opportunities for professional development and promotions.

* College Education or CDA

*Experience working with children/classroom management skills required

*Leadership skills- you will be managing a team of teachers

* Excellent communication skills- you will be the point person for this location and will send communications to your school community and families often

*Creative- this program is your business to manage. We welcome your ideas to enhance our curriculum.

Full time hours: 7 am- 9 am/ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm (when needed in ratio) and time midday allotted for administrative tasks. 35-40 hours per week- Director sets the schedule each week for team. As a Director, you will also share in the preparations for our district-wide summer camp and work collaboratively with other leaders. This position reports to an engaged manager (who was promoted from a Site Director position!) who will identify your strengths and provide opportunities for you to leverage them to support the greater team and region.

Part-time hours: 15-40 per week

Salary: $700.00 - $800.00 per week
