We are hiring a Director of 3PL Sales in Dallas, TX

Saia LTL Freight is currently hiring for Director of 3PL Sales based in Dallas, TX. As a Director of 3PL Sales, you will develop the 3PL vertical sale for Saia LTL Freight. This role is responsible for strengthening our strategic initiatives focused on building both the Brokerage and Enterprise business through our third party vendors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Advise and direct dedicated 3PL National Account Executives.
  • Deliver profitable revenue growth of the 3PL network.
  • Set short and long term selling strategies for the 3PL channel.
  • Design and recommend 3PL sales programs and evaluate effectiveness of current sales programs.
  • Evaluate and implement appropriate new sales techniques to increase the 3PL channel’s revenue.
  • Partner and collaborate with all business and support functions of the organization to accomplish strategic goals and objectives.
  • Establish quotas, manage goals and evaluate performance of sales teams.
  • Manage forecasting, sales force automation, and contract compliance and negotiation.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related discipline
  • 7+ years of sales experience
  • 5+ years of sales management experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in third-party logistics, supply chain management, consulting or related
  • Experience in developing and executing pricing strategy
  • Experience managing complex negotiations resulting in win/win conclusions
  • Strong financial acumen and experience handling pricing and setting up complex contracts
  • Proven leadership skills to drive and motivate team to achieve results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and networking abilities
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus
