As a Dining Services Director you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all activities provided by the Dietary Department to provide optimal nutritional care and quality food service to the Residents and staff. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting in the management and direction of all personnel and policies of The Heritage Ministries dietary department.
  • Assist in the development of departmental policies and procedures, which govern dietary services. Coordinate policies with other departments to ensure compatibility
  • Serve as Assigned Supervisor for dietary department personnel. Participate and/or assist as necessary in team interviews, employee performance reviews, disciplinary conferences and exit interviews in a timely fashion.
  • Participate in planning and controlling budgets for the dietary department.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED/TASC required.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Should have formal training in food production, budgeting, sanitation, menu writing, record keeping, and supervisory experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks and assignments.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and professionally with staff, residents, vendors, and volunteers.
