Job Description:

A digital producer supervises the design, development and publishing of digital products and campaigns including course videos, web advertisements, videos, and other media. Duties include creating designs for new projects, preparing reports, and estimating cost.

AVI is on the hunt for a highly-creative and experienced digital producer to join our dynamic team. As the Digital Media Content Producer, you will be in charge of all projects involving the creation of still and moving digital media. Your duties will include creating concepts for new designs, providing cost estimates, and ensuring all content meets technical and editorial requirements.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess an creative analytical mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills. You will also demonstrate the ability to coordinate with our team at a variety of levels and across functions and oversee production expectations to ensure happiness.

Essential Activities & Tasks:

• Oversee the production of digital media including videos, website development, online advertising, and email marketing.
• Provide still and moving digital media projects to use for instructional and marketing purposes
• Create concepts and designs for new digital projects.
• Interpret instructional content and present with effective and engaging design
• Coordinate with AVI Production and Marketing management to guarantee workflow, documentation, and design standards are being upheld.
• Prepare accurate status reports.
• Identify any issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the AVI team of developers, designers, and instructors to ensure that the final product is consistent with the AVI quality standards.
• Provide cost estimates and quotations, and monitor budgets for assigned projects.
• Ensure all content is created with integrity, on time and provides the maximum engagement possible

Qualifications Preferred:

• Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Indesign and/or Illustrator) to produce still and moving video products
• Familiarity/proficiency with Google applications, Microsoft Office or equivalent desktop applications
• Experience organizing files and folders locally on a computer as well as on network drives
• Proficiency with publishing content and/or for online distribution
• Proficiency using digital still and video cameras and equipment
• Certification, degree or equivalent experience in electronic/digital media, mass communications, public relations, journalism or relevant field.
• Able to transcribe and write production scripts
• 2 years+ experience in a similar role (preferred).
• Working knowledge of applications or software that is related to web design, video editing, and graphic design (i.e. WordPress, Adobe XD/Dreamweaver, Weebly, Statamic, Ghost, Atom, Webflow, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and creatively
• Outstanding communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Physical requirements-Ability to work at a computer work station, ability to lift 10-15 pounds, ability to stand for long periods when needed.
