Diesel Heavy Truck Mechanic is needed in a busy shop in
Atlanta, GA.
OEM or ASE Certifications are a definite asset and training will be offered for those mechanics who are interested in developing their skill set!
Requirements:
- Diesel Truck Mechanics must be able to diagnose and repair all heavy truck systems in a fleet setting. 3+ years' experience in a Heavy Truck fleet maintenance setting is preferred.
- Diesel Technicians must be able to work with electrical systems, read wiring diagrams/schematics, troubleshoot electrical problems and make the appropriate repairs.
- Experience using some of the major diagnostic software programs such as, Cummins InSite, CAT ET, Service Maxx, or DDEC/DDDL, is necessary.
- Diesel engine diagnostic experience on Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, CAT, Navistar, Volvo, is preferred.
- Experience repairing Lift Gates, Brake Systems, replacing defective parts, and completing Preventative Maintenance are all major assets.
- Must have your own tools and able to obtain a CDL and a DOT Inspection License within your first 90 days.
- Pre-employment background checks will be complete.
