FIRST SHIFT 7:30 TO 4PM MONDAY - FRIDAY

Full time hours Monday – Friday with Overtime Hours and Incentive Bonuses available each week.

$50-$70 BONUS PAY PER WEEK FOR GAS on top of Overtime and other Incentives!

OVERTIME INCENTIVE BONUS OF $100 FOR 45 HOURS MONDAY - FRIDAY!

Mid America Trenchers LLC is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic specializing in construction equipment is needed to join our team just west of Des Moines, Iowa. Those with previous heavy equipment mechanic experience/training on John Deere, Volvo, CAT, Komatsu, AG or other equipment will be given preference. Job Overview

Diagnose problems and determine what repairs are needed.

Perform any inspections as required.

Maintain a safe work environment and safe work habits.

Maintain and care for all shop tools, machines and equipment.

Maintain records and account for all time, parts, and supplies used in repairing and servicing both customer and dealership equipment.

Report to Service Manager any additional work required to ensure proper operation and safety of equipment.

Operate trucks and equipment with extreme care and caution.

Handle customer problems both objectively and tactfully.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

1+ years of experience performing service repairs

Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures

Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and construction equipment

Proficient oral and written communication skills

Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly

Basic Service Technician certification preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred

Valid driver’s license is required/CDL preferred

Some field work required

Light Travel maybe required

Compensation: $30.00 - $38.00/hour. Wage range depends on experience. Field Service and light travel pay additional compensation. After 90 day probation there is a comprehensive benefits package which includes a fully paid uniforms, 401K, Vacation Pay, Medical, Dental, & Vision.

Shifts: Days, 7:30am - 4:00pm (Monday - Friday). OT paid after 40 hours per week.

Position located in Dexter, Iowa (roughly 20 minutes West of the Des Moines Metropolitan area).
