Job Responsibilities:

The Software Developer II is responsible for improving quality, effectiveness, and usability of in-house and member facing applications. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: design, coding, testing of technical solutions, system maintenance & administration, monitoring, automation of tasks, interface development/maintenance, and contributing to team growth. The Developer II is part of the team that builds and manages software systems for the credit union and regularly evaluates systems to ensure performance and uptime goals are being achieved.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree or equivalent and 3-5 years related systems experience as well as a strong desire to solve complex problems and work in a collaborative environment as an effective member of a team. In lieu of a 4-year degree, a high school diploma and commensurate experience is acceptable. This individual will possess exceptional oral and written interpersonal communication skills, the ability to work with confidential files and materials and demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and make sound decisions.

Required skills sets include:

• Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of the .NET ecosystem
• Experience with Angular development
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and other JS libraries
• Experience with Git versioning and source control
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and the MVC development pattern
• Familiarity with automated testing platforms and unit testing
• Ability to write clean, readable, well-commented code
• A passion for coding best practices and documentation
