Broadway Ventures is seeking a Dev/Ops Infrastructure Lead that shall be responsible for DevOps activities of systems migrations and projects and shall be responsible for the automation and configuration management of the environments.
Broadway Ventures supports U.S. Government customers on critical development and sustainment programs to design, build, deliver, and operate network operations environments including introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats.
Headquartered in Amite, LA, we have customer delivery teams at multiple customer locations across the US. Broadway has 65 employees and is growing with $7 million in annual revenue. Responsibilities:
- Provide AWS infrastructure management, automated configuration management, containerization, and infrastructure as code, security scans, test automation, Cl/CD pipeline, continuous delivery, and production deployments.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and works closely with other technical teams.
- Manage systems operations, DevSecOps tools, and Open Source tools and technologies required to support the system.
- Continual advancement in technology using collaborative and creative agile environments. It is required that the latest technologies and industry best practices are used to develop efficient ways of delivering solutions that meet business objectives.
- Effectively conduct investigations and analysis to provide recommendations regarding technology improvements, and development best practices.
- Support the Program Manager (PM) in ensuring staffing is appropriate to the task
- Provide assistance to the PM in maintaining effective lines of communication within internal and external stakeholders
- Implement tasks directed by the PM to ensure that the system and software processes affecting areas such as quality, cost, schedule, and performance are predictable, repeatable, and manageable, and meet and/or exceed commercial best practices
- Provide team leadership to support the PM to assure an adequate quality assurance program and processes are in place and strictly adhered to for all tasks
- Support the PM to provide timely and quality submissions of deliverables and ad-hoc requests and;
- Be a key resource to the PM to maintain business relations with CMS and all other stakeholders and partners.
Required Skills:
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- The Dev/Ops Infrastructure Lead shall have knowledge and experience with projects of similar size and complexity in leading the DevOps activities of systems migrations and projects and shall be responsible for the automation and configuration management of the environments.
- Working with Program Management methodologies
- Excellent conflict management, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an aptitude and passion for learning new technologies.
- Proven experience managing development in an Agile environment.
- Strong presentation and report writing experience.
- Technical experience with a track record of customer project success: 5 years (Preferred)
- HHS, CMS experience: 3 year (Preferred)
Desired Skills:
- Background with test and server monitoring tools
- Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform, including development of customizations beyond out-of-box
- Experience with concurrency, multithreading, and the deployment of distributed system architectures
- Understanding of database schemas, table spaces, indexing, and performance optimization techniques
- Experience working in DevOps and/or DevSecOps environments
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) knowledge and experience
- Experience with collaboration tools including MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS SharePoint, Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence, and Atlassian Jira Align
- Experience with large-scale production environments
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Preferred:
SAFe/Agile, DevOps AWS, ITSM, and CISSP certifications.
