CAI is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist for a major client.This is a one-year contractopportunity. Due to the nature of the role, this will be fully onsite. Our client is based in Trenton, New Jersey.
We are seeking a highly motivated, and detail-oriented Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. This individual will be providing hardware and software support throughout the state of New Jersey. The Desktop Support Specialist will be working with technology including desktops, laptops, PCs, MACs, printers, scanning peripherals, and network connectivity. The successful candidate will be working with various committees to provide technical support.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· provide hardware maintenance and software support services, including equipment repair, desk side and phone support,
· installation – moves – adds – changes and upgrade services.
· Provide onsite support during regular committee meetings
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in support of desktops and peripherals
- Ability to set up and troubleshoot entire small offices with networking and local technology
- Prior experience in a corporate office environment
- Ability to use a personal vehicle to travel up to 125 miles roundtrip from Trenton (with reimbursement per mile)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor.
