Job description

If you are looking to be a part of a TEAM involved in a relationship driven family dental practice, we’d like to meet you. We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. As a Dental Hygienist, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. Minimum of two with an option of up to four days available.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient comfort and safety
• Manage dental hygiene instruments and supplies
• Conduct initial hygiene exam, and review dental / medical history
• Routine dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, fluoride, sealants,
• Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care
• Take digital radiographs or dental impressions
• Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient

Skills

• Proven experience as Dental Hygienist
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety (e.g. HIPAA, OSHA training)
• Outstanding communication skills
• A patient and friendly personality
• Attention to detail
• Associate or Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene
• Valid license to practice

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
