One-year Dental Assisting Experience. General knowledge of supplies orders, equipment maintenance. Greet patients, take x-rays, complete patient charts, update patient health history, sterilize instruments, preform clinical procedures include dental sealants, fluoride, oral hygiene instruction, proper brushing and flossing.

• Education: High School Diploma, ADA Graduate

Responsible for supporting organizational quality and performance improvement initiatives, patient safety, regulatory and advancing evidenced based practices as directed by the Dentist, and Dental Hygienist.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The work may require extensive time at a desk working at a computer, it may also require regular and recurring physical exertion such as standing or walking for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, stooping, crouching and stretching required during the normal course of the day. The employee must exert 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects and must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds. Requires frequent repetitive hand/wrist motions and finger manipulation. Requires normal/corrected vision and hearing to normal range. The work involves recurring exposure to moderate risks which require special safety and health precautions and the use of Personal Protective Equipment; risks such as exposure to contagious diseases, contaminated bodily fluids, sharp instruments, and other contaminants.
