Immediate Opening for Delivery Driver for our Santa Clara Location!

Local Delivery of Lawn Care Materials and other Outdoor Living & Leisure Products to commercial and residential customers in and throughout the Santa Clara area.

Schedule >> Mon - Fri 7AM START (Minimum of 30 day assignment)

Pay >> $24 - 25/hr

Responsibilities:

· Driver is responsible for safe and timely deliveries to local customers around the Santa Clara Area

· Driver will be operating a 26ft freightliner with a 16ft bed

· Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.

·Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.

· Collect payments and accurately document delivery.

·Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).

·Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.

·Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.

·Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.

·Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Valid Class C License

· Must be 21+ years or older

· 1 year delivery experience

· Ability to lift 100 lbs

· Forklift Experience Preferred

· Clean MVR

· Pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen & Background
