Job description

Delivery drivers require the ability to repeatedly lift and stack 7 pound and 20 pound bags of ice.

Our drivers will either drive our refrigerated vans or our refrigerated truck which is a non-CDL vehicle with a 22' box and lift gate.

We typically delivery daily within a 50 mile radius of Ithaca. Occasionally there may be a delivery beyond that. Drivers fill ice boxes at delivery locations with 7 or 20 pound bags of ice and are responsible for using company tablets to record sales, deliver receipts to customers and balance out the day's deliveries. Pallets are moved around on and off of the truck using electric pallet jacks. The length of work days can vary depending on order requests, which very much coincide with the weather and summer temperatures and events. Typically work begins at 9:30 AM and work until done. Familiarity with driving long box delivery vans and a box truck is a plus.

This is a seasonal position until approximately October.

Dependability and clean appearance are required and a willingness to ask questions and communicate with shop while doing deliveries.
