JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1) General Sales and Delivery

• Daily loading and truck parking will be out of Maple Lake, MN.
• Follows procedural inventory guidelines maintaining an accurate inventory in truck and depot.
• Maintains proper warehouse inventory levels, ensuring fresh product and limits out of stocks.
• Plans, Picks and loads truck accurately and efficiently for deliveries.
• Abides by start of day times, as out lined by your District Manager to ensure receiving times are met and deliveries are completed.
• Represents the company in a positive manner when dealing with receivers, frozen managers, owners, customers, etc.
• Merchandise accounts as defined with the “Pizza 101” program.
• Invoices all customers accurately and completes daily paperwork as required.
• Deliveries and merchandising functions at assigned accounts defined by the District Manager.
• Assists in store resets as needed within district

2) D.O.T

• Utilize safe work practices as described in your handbook.
• Understand and comply with applicable Federal, local and state regulations.
• Adhere to company rules and regulations, follow all accident and injury reporting procedures.
• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle. Always drive in a safe and courteous manner and practice defensive driving techniques.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness. Adhere to the preventative maintenance schedule, and vehicle service and repair guidelines.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Record inspections on the in-cab device, or on a paper DVIR in the event of a device malfunction.
• Practice proper cargo securement techniques using approved securement devices.
• Ensure the accuracy of and certify hours of service on the in-cab ELD. Edit and notate discrepancies or inaccuracies as soon as you are alerted to them. Follow reporting procedures and use paper driver logs in case of a malfunction.
• Complete and submit accurate driver paperwork on time (trip reports, fuel purchases, etc.).
• Respond to warehouse/freezer temperature monitoring alerts.
