- Valid ND Teaching License with appropriate qualifications for the middle level
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university with Educational Leadership/Administration preparation or significant progress toward completion
- Ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff, and the school community
- Minumum two year's teaching experience
- Middle level experience preferred
- Experience working with special education plans preferred
- WFPS funds the entire 11.75% employee contribution to TFFR, as well as the 12.75% employer contribution.

DEAN OF STUDENTS - CHENEY MIDDLE SCHOOL
POSITION: Dean of Students - Cheney Middle School
TERM: 198-day contract beginning with the 2023-2024 school year
SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the building principal, provide student behavior support and intervention while promoting a positive school climate and culture. This position will work with students, parents, and families regarding behavior and attendance guidelines while supporting teacher expectations. The successful individual will coach and model effective classroom management techniques, including social skills, and support the integration of learned skills into existing curriculum and environments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
SALARY: 2023-2024 Teachers' Salary Schedule plus School Leadership Team stipend (until new schedule is released)
