CHILDCARE TEACHER - FLOATER (FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME)
Day By Day Discoveries in New Franken and Luxemburg are both looking for fun, caring and energetic teachers to add to our classroom. Your day would begin at approximately 9:00 a.m. and end by 5:30 p.m. We are also looking for college students to help for summer.

Job responsibilities of the float teacher would include doing breaks in a number of classrooms and eventually be a relief person at the end of the night. You would also be responsible for conducting daily routine care (diapers, mealtime, finger plays, flannel stories, reading books, singing and dancing) in the classrooms, odd jobs around the center, including helping with dishes and laundry, etc.

Experience is preferred, but not necessary, as long as your willing to complete the necessary coursework within 6 months of employment. This training is currently being offered through a program from the state for free. Wage is determined on training and experience and will be further discussed at the time of the interview. Individuals must become CPR and First Aid certified. Backgrounds checks are preformed upon hire.
