JAVA / Microservices Intern

We’re looking for a high motivated person who will be part of our

KVG Data Delivery team with the following skills or abilities:

• The ability to handle high workload and fast pacing environment
• High degree of independence, personal responsibility and assertiveness
• Teamwork, analytical thinking and solution oriented
• High level of proficiency in one of the programming languages : JAVA, Python , Apache SPARK
• Ability of understand the end to end Software Development Lifecycle.

In addition you will get the knowledge about State Street’s way of working.

Primary Responsibilities:

As an Intern you will be :

• Developing JAVA / Microservices based transformation tools
• Build Cloud native applications for data transformation pipeline
• Participate in architectural decision for KVG Data Transformation platform
• Help in building DevOps pipeline for KVG Data Transformation pipeline
• be an interface between business- and IT-Teams
• taking care of the change management process for production changes
• error handling
• Incident- and Problem management handling
• supporting global initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Studies in Computer Science, IT or something similar.
• Knowledge of JAVA, Spring Framework, Microservices, APIs and DevOps tools.
• Knowledge about GIT, Artifactory, Cloud Foundry and Cloud Tools is advantageous.
• Self-motivated , self-organized and curious about new technology and bale to work through a large organization.
• Available for at least 6-months.
