ExpressPoint has an opening for a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst enhances Company performance by reviewing and providing analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends. Assists in developing and maintaining financial models to support valuation, budgeting, and forecasting. This position will also continue to evolve financial and operational metrics tracking. Requires deep understanding of Excel and financial software.

This position can be 100% remote or based out of any of our offices in the following locations:

• Westlake Village, CA
• El Paso, TX
• Columbus, OH
• Juarez, MX

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to work independently while providing leadership enhancing and improving the budget and forecasting requirements
• Develop annual financial budgets and periodic forecasts
• Provide support to Controller by maintaining valuation models complimenting the long-term strategic objective of leadership team
• Implement and enhance activity-based costing (ABC) to garner increased comprehensive understanding of customer profitability
• Financial performance reporting budget to actual on monthly basis
• Creation of required ad-hoc reports and dashboards driving operational excellence
• Improve productivity through automation of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes and tools
• Ensure accurate financial reporting by interacting closely with the accounting team
• Participate in short- and long-range capital budgeting process
• Develop an understanding of ExpressPoint’s business systems, including, Servigistics, Parts Planning, Oracle, etc. and how these systems control the flow of materials.
• Develop an understanding of the data sources that are available from the reporting systems.
• Special projects and financial analysis as assigned

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance degree required

Experience

• 1-4 years of comparable experience in financial budgeting and forecasting
• Business acumen
• Fluent with Excel formulas and functions
• Power BI experience is a plus

Other Skills and Abilities

• Good communication and presentation skills developing reporting aids for various levels within organization
• Ability to work independently, but will also be challenged to diplomatically provide guidance and support to a variety of levels throughout the company
• Experience in Prophix or other current state-of-the-art budgeting and forecasting system
