IT Systems Engineer – Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to support our growing IT infrastructure. You will be both hands on - working directly on systems and equipment - as well as informing the long-term IT strategy for the organization.
What will I be doing?
- Conducting application security reviews for current and future applications
- Performing routine access reviews for employees, contractors, and consultants
- Lead the response to security incidents
- Author and administer cybersecurity-related policies
- Develop and report on cybersecurity metrics on a regular cadence
- Own relationships with XDR and SEIM technology providers
- Analyzing business requirements and recommending solutions
- Performing risk assessments
- Coordinating compliance with legal and regulatory processes
- Participating with the IT team on cross-functional projects
What must I have?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT
- Experience working with or in publicly traded companies, or in a regulated industry

- Servers and virtualization: Dell, HP, VMWare
- Personal computers: Windows, macOS, Linux
- Wired and WiFi networks: Cisco, Palo Alto, Ubiquity
